New Slideshow on the Official Class of 1988 Web Site

Jill Gamble Gupta created a new slideshow on the website today. It's a collage of 7th grade yearbook photos and other photos from various yearbooks and other pictures Jill has scanned. Ever since she got that new scanner, she's been going NUTS, so view her work and let her know how great a job she's doing.

Oh, and Jill...you're doing a FABULOUS job!

Gaze into your crystal ball again....

And tell us (post a comment), where do you think you’ll be 5 years from now?  10 years from now?????

This time, you’ll realize we will be able to remind you of your answer!!

Times Up!! Predictions from the 10th reunion...

Finally, I got my hands on it….

Remember way back at the 10 year reunion, there was a little survey we all filled out.  I typed it up but didn’t bother to safe keep a soft copy.  Sherry, the pack rat, found a paper copy and finally got it to me this week.

So, here goes….here are the predictions made at the 10 year reunion as to where you would be by the time the 20 year reunion rolled around!!

This is meant to be fun!

Cathy Baker:  Hopes to be working permanent with a good company.

Dawn Budney Preske:  Expects to be living out West and incorporating her love of the outdoors into her daily life by skiing everyday during the winter season, teaching Biology on the college level, working as an Outward Bound coordinator and conducting mountain bike clinics.

Clint Burns:  Will be married and working as a nurse practitioner.

Rebecca Butler Castelleti:  Hopes to be a Mom and a Dentist.

Sherry Creeger Dineen:  Hopes to have a couple of healthy and happy children over the next couple of years while making a career change into the field she has always loved:  Biology.

David Elwood:  Hopes to be retired within the next 10 years!

Kyra Finley-Woodman:   To be working in a hospital as a surgical assistant or a nurse practitioner.  She will also be a very active member of the PTA and hopes to be a politician’s wife smiling proudly for the media.  (She does admit that any rumors from high school are true, these questionnaires could re-surface during the election campaign).

Ingrid Gabbert Silvernale:  To be “making babies” in the next 5 years and plans on living the simple life as an at-home Mommy.

Jill Gamble:  Hope within 5 years to be married to “Mr. Wonderful” (yet to be found).  Within 10 years, having two children and another experience of living overseas or at least lots of international travel.  NAILED IT!!

Dee Goldman Mackenzie:  Still working for Bissell Hospital and moving up in the ranks.  She and Chuck will still be together.

Alan Hickling:  Wants to be assigned to shore duty in CT and retire from the Navy within 10 years.

Tammy Hill Varady:  Will be going back to work and owning her dream home.  Other than that, she says she will “take it as it comes”.

Nicki Meadows Pell: To be teaching high school and possibly Vet school.

Vicki Meadows Arnold:  Expects to be raising her 4 kids and enjoying life.  Within 10 years, she hopes to have her RN degree.

Mary Mullins Boggs: Will be spending the next few years raising her 2 children.  Eventually she will work out of the home and in 10 years will be watching Rachel and Ryan prepare to graduate from high school.

Steve Musser:  Will be married to Jen, possibly having children and living in Utah.

Stacy Nail:  Hopes to be married with children within the next 5 years.

James O’Rourke: Hopes to be working for a major computer company.

Robin Perry Billings:  Intends to be having babies right on through the next 10 years.

Dani Seiler Kennedy:  Will be raising her children and working.

Susan Sprout Knight:  See the same for her future as Dani.

Faith Short Fuchs:  Will be waiting till after her kids start school to take on a part time job.  She hopes that her family will be selling the house they live in now and looking for something bigger.

Michael Stamper:  Expects to spend the next 10 years doing lots and lots of sit-ups to lose weight.

Melissa Testerman Knauer:  Will hopefully be living in Florida.

Gwen Thompson:  Sees herself in 5 years being financially and mentally stable.  She is also getting married on June 26, 1999.

Charlie and Lindsey Adams welcome baby #5!!!

Charlie and Lindsey Adams welcomed their latest bundle of joy (#5) into the world on August 8, 2008.  Below is a message from Charlie:

We had an early arrival last night.Smile emoticon

We think her name is going to be Victoria Faith.....she was 5 lbs. 11 oz. and 19 in. She is in the NICU right now and will be for at least 48 hrs. Lindsey is doing ok; much better than the doctors thought.

You can send your well wishes to Charlie at ctatwo@hotmail.com.

Who would you vote for as "most changed?"

From looking at the “Now” pictures on the website and for those of us that attended reunion activities, who would you vote for as Most Changed?

I’m still trying to decide on my answer….  No prizes to win here, just making conversation.

I didn’t see anything at the 20 year reunion as dramatic as we witnessed at the 10 year reunion.   Yes, Richard Tocci, that means you.

I’m thinking about voting for myself because I was way more confident and comfortable around folks from high school then I think I’ve ever been before.  Ha ha.   I find in my “adult” life, in social circles I travel in now, I feel way more guarded than I do with nice people from my past like you all.
